[Valentine's Day Mini Challenge] Day 2

I didn't have to think alot about this one. The hottest scene that I have ever read in a book goes to.... -insert drum roll here-...

 ..."baasement punishment" from Tears Of Tess by Pepper Winters!

I honestly don't even know which scene to choose from this book. This was one of my favorite reads from 2013 and it was definitely hot as well as dark, twisted, and completely mind blowing. I don't think I could have chosen anything better to go for this question on this challenge.

Book Boyfriend list.. Oh man.. I don't think I should have joined this challenge because of so many book boyfriend I have but I will introduce you to the one and only...

 ...Travis Maddox from Beautiful Disaster!

Travis Maddox might be the most popular guy in the book world and I'm sure everyone knows why. He's hot, he's a bad boy, but he's also the most sweetest guy that I've ever read about. His relationship with Abby was so intense, it gave me chills and that's something that every girl out there wants as well...

Overall - I'm pretty sure that I won't be the only girl obsessing over Travis this week but he's mine and I"m sharing him with anyone *wink*

[Bout Of Books 9.0] Final Results

I can't believe it's already been a week since I started my first Read-A-Thon! This was so much fun, I definitely want to do more of them in the future.  It was interesting to try and see how far I can push myself and think that I made some progress. I didn't read the books that I originally wanted to read because they were physical covers but I did listen to some audiobooks and they were awesome! I can't wait to see what everyone's results turn out to be :)

Incarnate Series Read-a-thon

It's officially midnight at Seattle and the beginning of Incarnate Read-a-Thon for me! The plan is to read Incarnate, followed by Asunder, Phoenix Overture and finally, Infinite when it releases on January 28, 2013 -- and to do it all together! I first found out about this challenge about 2 hours ago from amazing Book Smartie and it took me about 5 minutes to decide if I want to do it or not.

I have never read the same exact book with other people before so it's going to be a new experience for me. But that's what 2014 is for, right? & I really want to stick with it so wish me luck and let's hope that my $25 Gift Card can cover all the costs for this read-a-thon lol

So I had to skip a day yesterday. Our company is going through software transitioning and we were supposed to migrate all the data by Monday morning. But I was happy to just come home and read a book that I can enjoy. But back to the quesiton. In 2013 I felt like I was always trying to catch up on reviews so they wasn't alot of books that I actually read when I wanted to. But I did have couple of favorites which are listed below. Woohoo first start of the challenge! I honesetly have been so worried about this because it's my first read-a-thon ever!! I picked out some books earlier (you can see my Goals post HERE) but I have to do some reviews so I don't even know if that's what it's going to be. Happy New Year to all of my followers!! I'm so excited to begin new year with every single one of you and let's hope that this one is going to be amazing! HUGE thanks for Parajunkee's amazing website for hosting this, she is a genius! :)

1.Get creative & Personal
In 2013 I have been focusing a lot on hosting Cover Reveals and Book Tours. But I realized that it wasn't what I wanted to be known for and started to post more reviews and memes. This year I really want to connect with my followers and really show them who I am as a person. 

2.Comments
I have been pretty good about returning comments but I completely missed out on following Bloglovin and discovering amazing blog posts. 2014 will be when I will be on the hunt for awesome posts and you'll know when I was there *wink*

3.Prevent burning out
Around September 2013 I had a complete blogger burnout. I didn't want to think about blogs, books, or anything to do with this community. I know it sounds very rude and I really didn't want it to happen, I just couldn't help myself. I think it was because I requested so many blog tours and books, that I gave up. I'm glad to be over that stage and really exciting to start fresh.

[Bout of Books 9.0]

I decided to step up and do something interesting in 2014. And first of all - HUGE thanks to Laura from Laura + Books for posting about this! She definitely inspired me to join in and see if I can challenge myself to start the year right with good amount of books. I decided that since this is going to be my first challenge ever, I'm going to read 4 books. I just picked them up in the library today and really excited to read them! DAY 9: why do you blog about books?

Hmmm.. I have been reading so many amazing books that I just wanted to share my passion and since I always had passion for design, I was excited to put it to use. I used to be really into blogs for Beauty & Fitness but it seems like everyone always has the same thing. I mean, pretty much anyone can buy a high end lipstick and post about it but not everyone can express their thoughts about the book they recently read. And books helped me through a lot in my life. I remind myself of it by my banner which says "Getting away from reality" because sometimes that's all you can do with this life. Just forget about it for a moment.

And I feel like this community is way more intelligent than any other blog community out there. We read, we write and we tell the authors how it is. & that's not even considering that we make best friends just by liking the same book without caring what we look like or where we come from. LOVE ALL OF YOU MY BEAUTIFUL BOOK BLOGGERS!!!

[15 Days Challenge] Day 8: What Appeals You On Blogs?

Oh man this weekend was so busy! I was out of town so didn't have a chance to post any of the challenges but I'm going to catch up with everyone. I missed seeing everyone's answers and will be catching up on comments and other posts as I go along. It's good to be back! Woohoo!! Can't wait to read all of your bullet points and get some feedback! & you can always see the rules and join in the fun over HERE!!! <3

DAY 8: 15 bullet points that appeal to you on blogs.

• Beautiful layout - With so many free templates out there I know how easy it is to make sure that your blog is presentable even if you don't have a lot of creativity. Blogs that are more appealing to the eye will always get more attention. 

• Personality - I love when I read someone's post and I can see who they really are through them. It's kind of like meeting that person without actually meeting them.

• GIFs - This was something that Goodreads made me addicted to. I love love love GIFs! Makes the review hilarious and actually expresses your thoughts better.

• Same rating - When I see someone rate a book the same as I did makes them an automatic best friend!

• Beautiful book covers - I know I'm such a sucker for design!! But I can't help it. If you review with beautiful cover, there is more chance I'm going to read it. 

• Search Bar - I like when people put them in easy-to-view spot because there's always some things I look for (like giveaways *wink*)

• Your Favorite Books - There's always a time when I'm in between books and can't decide what I should read (even with hundreds of books on my TBR list). I like going through blogs and seeing recommendations for my next book. 

• Audiobooks - This is my new habit and I'm getting obsessed  With audiobooks not only the book has to be good but the narrator has to be perfect as well. I usually go through blogs to see what their favorites are.  

• Awesome Name!! - Yes, I will read your blog just because your name is awesome. Period. I bow down to your genius mind!!

• Easy Media Buttons - If I read a blog and want to follow them, I hate looking around for 10 minutes just so I can follow them. Good thing that bloglovin' button is premade so I can see it pretty easy on most of them.   

• CAPTCHA - please please please remove it!!! Most of the time when I'm in the rush (or on computer at work & hiding), I don't have time to put CAPTCHA in and don't submit my comment. Bloggers - this is so much easier for everyone to not have to submit that!

• Passion - I love people who are as passionate for books as I am and they show it. 

• Being consistent - I know that everyone gets busy but if you commit yourself to the blog, please post on it. It's so easy to schedule couple of posts ahead without having to log in every day! I think I have about 15 posts scheduled right now and loving it.

• Rating Scale - It's so fun to always see these. I know that I still need to figure mine out but these are always awesome. People are so creative!! 

• Easy To Read- Font, post setup, grammar - the better the visual, the better the post will turn out! And of course, there's always the actual writing involved hehe
