[Stacking The Shelves] #27 - Digital All-the-Way

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews featuring the books we got this week.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Can you believe it's already 2015? I'm sure you heard this hundreds of times but it's still true though right? & what did they say? 2030 is just as close to us as 2000 was? I still think 10 years ago was 1990 so let's not get crazy here.

Anyway... Digitals. I remember when e-ARCs were so popular and everyone wanted to get their hands on them as soon as they could. Is this still true? I value print books so much more now but still love me some ecopies for convenience. So I went a little crazy and might have got a little too much than I should.. Here's the titles that I have been approved for this week, so excited for them!

  4. I can't believe we're that close to 2030, that's so weird....

I also have The Night We Said Yes, Between The Notes, Paperweight and Emmy & Oliver. :) I really like E-ARCS, mostly due to the convenience, they don't take up space, I don't really have to wait for them to be "mailed" and I don't feel bad if I don't get to reading one (generally).

  5. Awesome haul, Ellie! I got both The Leveller and Paperweight this week, too, and I can't wait to start reading.
I mostly read e-books, both because they take up much less space in my house, and because books are actually very expensive in Switzerland. Amazon has felt like a life-saver to me for years, before kindle-books, I ordered my books from them and waited over a month to receive my books. But as soon as kindle appeared, I was ecstatic, I could just click online, and there the books was on my e-reader like magic :)
I hope you'll enjoy all your new books. Have a fantastic week and happy reading.
