  3. I guess it was simply picking out my costume for that year! I would tend to go as a favorite character or something! One year I wanted to go as a dead pilgrim, but couldn't get the makeup right. I think I was in 5th grade or maybe 6th? So just ended up being a regular one. Kinda lame.

Guess I do like the one year I went as Kimberly the Pink Power Ranger from THE MOVIE! It was the ninja looking costume! I was a geek...still kind of am...and still totally proud of it! :D

  8. My favorite memory of Halloween was when I dressed up my dog as a bumblebee for halloween she looked adorable especially with the bee antenna's on her head. I really miss her. She looked so cute. Though she wasn't happy about it, she tried taking it off at any chance she got.

  45. One memorable Halloween, there was three feet of snow on the ground. Since the snow was about as tall as I was, my mom took me to our local mall, where kids and parents would trick-or-treat store-to-store. (As far as I know, malls aren't allowed to do this anymore, because of the fire risk posed by being so far over capacity.) It was great to see all the inventive costumes people had on, and I got a lot of candy for being a "sweet, li'l mermaid". As an added plus, after trick-or-treating my mom took me to an open Halloween party for young children at a school in our district.

  52. I remember Halloween of 1991. I was 11 and we had a HUGE blizzard. We got about 3 feet of snow in the evening hours of halloween. My mom ended up taking me trick or treating on our 4 wheeler because it was the only way we could get anywhere. And since driving was so dangerous, there were no trick or treaters anywhere, so every neighbor I went to gave me all of the candy they had!

  59. Hubby and I taking our daughter trick-or-treating for the first time. It was 3 years ago and it was memorable for all of us. Our neighbor was kind enough to give us some costumes --3 of them, two of which were brand new.

My daughter chose the princess(yeah I know, very cliche). It was slow at first but later it became like a carnival atmosphere. There were TONS of people out. Neighbors were congregating in one's driveway with their individual bags of treats.

  60. My favorite Halloween experience isn't a spooky one I'm afraid, or even Halloween-y because we don't celebrate them where I lived. But my birthday falls on the day after that and I remember getting an illustrated (or more like screen capped from the movie) Anastasia storybook when I was a kid and getting to read it a day early. My parents and I read it together that Halloween night. The book is long gone but I still remember the pictures and the experience.
