I started reading when I was four, thanks to a babysitter who found out the only way to get me to sit still (and shut up) was to put a book in my hand. By the time I entered kindergarten, I’d blown through just about every Little Golden Book ever printed. Ten years later, much to my mother’s dismay, I found her stash of paperback romance novels. She tried to divert me back to something more chaste by buying me Harlequins, but I still snuck copies of her Kathleen Woodiwiss’s and Johanna Lindsey’s when she wasn’t looking. Shanna, The Flame and the Flower, and Fires of Winter will always hold special places in my heart because they introduced me to roguish heroes, headstrong heroines, and the trouble they could get into together.

I live with my family in a swampy little corner of north-central Florida, close to the Gulf of Mexico and the historic Suwannee River. It’s hot, humid and full of mosquitos, but I wouldn’t trade it for… actually, I would trade it for a cottage on the beach somewhere in the Keys.

Beautiful… Heartbreaking.. Amazing…

Perfect example of how imperfect love is. And I know that some people think that the fights they had were immature and many the characters were not being serious. But trust me. I had fights with my boyfriend over a pillow. So shush. Oh and Travis Maddox will be my new boyfriend.

I cannot describe the feeling that I felt after this book! Usually books that have a lot of hype about them disappoint me but I totally agree with over 40,000 people that rated Beautiful Disaster 5 stars. I really enjoyed the writing style, the way the story went and thought that every character was perfectly developed. Cannot wait to start reading the second book in this series and love Travis all over again.

He scanned the area to look for her, spinning in a circle. A woman caught his attention through the glass of the studio as she emerged through a door inside. When she stopped and stood just inside the entrance, his attention focused in on her like a homing beacon.

The pale ivory tops of her full breasts played peek-a-boo with the polka dots, and to his very hungry eyes, that was a kill zone—a verifiable hot spot with a very elegant string of black pearls looping across her chest with a cross at the end, teasing the notch of her cleavage like sin and redemption all nestled together temptingly.

Fuck yeah…wait…oh fuck was more like it!

Jared never really considered himself a possessive man, but one look at her and he was transformed into a bona fide selfish jerk.
