[Feature & Follow Friday] Embarrassing Books

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Q: what book are you Embarrassed to admit you love?

I had to think long and hard about this.. A while back I discovered Pretty Little Liars on Netflix and couldn't get enough of them. I know that there are a lot of girls that really like this book and the show but I'm pretty sure they're 12 and still think Justin Bieber is hot. But no matter how many times I tried to stop liking it, I really wanna know who the heck this "A" is!

[Feature & Follow] Magazines

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Q: WHAT are some of your favorite magazines?

I love getting magazines in the mail so whenever there's a free subscription, I always hope to get some of them! It's funny because I never really read the articles but I love looking through all the pictures. I always get a lot of inspiration through it, specially with fitness and eating well. I love the recipes and all the tips that they have.

[Feature & Follow] Children Picture Books

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Q: What were your favorite picture books as a kid?

Definitely this book over here! I'm not really sure what it's translated in English but it's a Russian story about a girl named "Fedora" who was always very angry and all of her appliances were always running away from her lol It's actually kind of weird now that I think about it but I loved it! There were a lot more that I read as a kid but I couldn't find any graphics of it on Internet.

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Q: What is your preferred reading format? Hardcover, eBooks, paperback etc?

This was actually one question that I know the answer to. I LOVE THEM ALL!!! I can read 4 books at the same time, as long as they are in different formats. I actually have a book on my phone that I read during work (PDF), my Kindle (.mobi), hardcover and Audiobook! I really don't mind any of them and each one of them has good advantage. & I read more books that way too tehheehhee

[Feature & Follow Friday] #5 - Share Favorite Literary Quote

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Q: Share your favorite literary quote!

Every since I saw this quote, it gave me more confidence and I just love how simple but true it is. When we read, we become the people that we read about. Their thoughts, feelings, worries become a part of us. We fall in love, get our hearts broken all within that same book. That's really why I love reading and I can't wait to see everyone's favorite quotes!!

[Feature & Follow Friday] #4

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow
This weeks Question:

Q:  Give us a sneak! What are you reading? Tell us about a fun or fail scene in your current read.

Love love love this question this week! I actually just started to read a new book and about 20% into it and still can't figure out if I like it or not. It's called "Chasing Beautiful" and about a girl who recently got her heart broken. The scene that I just finished is her and the guy who broke her heart - yeah totally humping each other!! And the book explains it as "On the Wall while putting one of her legs on this shoulder and making the other wider". I don't know why, but that scene was pretty hot. I felt like I just rushed through it. And yes, I was at work while I was reading it and was defiantly blushing!

[Feature & Follow] #3

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

This weeks Question:

Q:  Have you ever read a book that you thought you would hate — ? Did you end up hating it? Did you end up loving it? Or would you never do that?

Actually there is a book like that. Unfortunately it was Divergent. I know, I know... It's everybody's favorite book and it so amazing.. But for me it wasn't all that great. I think it was because there was so much hype about it that I had too many inspections prior to reading it. I really wanted to love the book but I hated it.. :(

This weeks Question:

Q: What is your guilty pleasure as far as reading? Is it a genre, or is it a certain type of book?

Crazy action & sex scenes that get intense. Either I am at work or at home, I always forget about everything and just focus at the book. You will not able to get through me until the scene ends. I think that's why I love so many books. I blame it all on those intense, crazy, mind-blowing parts of the book.

This weeks Question: Activity! Hopefully warm weather for most of us is here soon…so tell us about your favorite outdoor reading spot.

My favorite outdoor reading spot has to be in my bed with a blanket. But if it's warm enough, I love going to a park by my house that has a lake view and just enjoy some coffee.
