[TV Show Review Tour + Giveaway] American Ride

American RideHost of AMERICAN RIDE, Stan Ellsworth breaks the mold of the stereotypical High School history teacher.
Former history teacher Stan Ellsworth tours the country on a Harley Davidson for the television show “American Ride.” Ellsworth’s approach to American history in AMERICAN RIDE removes the “bow tie and sweater vest” of history professors, puts on the “skull rag and denim vest” and breaks down stereotypes. His adventurous spirit and love for the United States is contagious and engaging. His approach is more like an invitation to walk (and ride) with him through the footsteps of history. He hopes the stories and “postcards” from the highways and byways of the country will make American history relevant to today’s audiences, and motivate them to take an active part in the preservation of the values this country was built upon.
Now in the sixth season, Stan takes you across the world to see how the clouds of war gathered once again and what led America to enter WWII. New episodes air each Monday 9PM ET/ 7PM MT on BYUtv. If you’ve missed any episodes, you can catch up with all of the previous seasons online anytime atwww.byutv.com/americanride

When you think about history, you definitely don't imagine a badass biker walk you through some of the most memorable events and dig deeper into the history and how it was influenced by many all through the years. Stan Ellsworth is a brilliant man! His stories are engaging, understanding, and he makes it easy not to fall asleep during the tellings. It also might be the leather jacket (super cool)

One of the episodes that I watched was Patriots' Finest Hour which tells a story about John Paul Jones and the great victory in Yorktown. Listening to Ellsworth was definitely a new experience for me but I know one thing - motocycles and history definitely go together. Planning on watching more episodes and learning more!

StanABOUT STAN ELLSWORTH
The 6’ 2”, 300-lb muscle-clad Harley Davidson-riding host of BYUtv’s acclaimed American history program, American Ride, would like nothing better than to inspire the next generation of George Washingtons, Susan B. Anthonys and Thomas Jeffersons. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and raised in the Carolinas, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and Pennsylvania, Ellsworth was steeped in the landmarks and stories of American history throughout his formative years. His family lineage includes such historic luminaries as Revolutionary War patriot Ethan Allen; both Generals of the Cival War, Robert E. Lee and Ulysses S. Grant (also the 18th president of the U.S.); and American folk heroes Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett.
Ellsworth’s goal—both when he was in the classroom, and now in his weekly television program—has always been to “wake people up” to the stories of our founding fathers and mothers, and to the sacrifices they made in creating this nation. In his gruff baritone voice, he speaks eloquently of our heritage and extols the wisdom and bravery of those who came before.

Orange Is the New Black Season 2 - Announced!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Netflix announced the starting of Season 2 which is June 6! Only 1 week until I get to enjoy more drama of the Women's Prison and get deeper into every woman's story. Ever since this TV Show came out, I couldn't stop watching it and was so sad when it ended. Now that Season 2 is out, I am determined to have a complete marathon and devour it. Here comes the TV Show hangover!

Gloria - Lay It On Thick. Black Cindy - Get Out Of My PadPoussey - Locked Up & Loaded. Alex Vause - Ex Marks The SpotRed - Tough As Nails. Piper Chapman - Ready For Round 2.

Orange is the New Black is actually a memoir by Piper Kerman that was published back in 2010. There are some differences between the book and the TV Show but both are still enjoyable and definitely worth checking out. I have reviewed the audiobook few months ago and was pleasantly surprised:

Orange is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison

Make sure you check out the TV Show Instagram to get all of the behind the scenes & mark June 6 on your calendar. Because it's going to be LEGEN-wait.for.it-DARY!!

*DVD Pack was provided by Kathy from I Am Reader as a part of blog tour in exchange of an honest review and includes personal opinion.*

Could you say ABSOLUTE AWESOMENESS?? I was so excited for this DVD, I felt like it was Christmas morning when it arrived. I started watching it right away and finished first season right away. All the characters were hilarious and I loved the different roles they played in every scene.

All the sketches were funny and some of them were a remake of some sort of program or situation. My favorite one was P90X sketch just because I used to do that program and that's exactly what I felt like was happening. I was laughing so bad when the girl just went to sleep instead of doing yoga!! That's exactly how I felt like doing whenever I was doing P90X hahahaha

I often get bored if I watch a movie or sketches like that Studio C really was good. I never got bored and roles kept me entertained. If you are looking for clean comedy TV Show  - Studio C is definitely for you! Your whole family will love it!
