The Secret Diamond Sisters (The Secret Diamond Sisters, #1)
The Secret Diamond Sisters
by

Savannah. Courtney. Peyton.

The three sisters grew up not knowing their father and not quite catching a break. But it looks like their luck is about to change when they find out the secret identity of their long-lost dad—a billionaire Las Vegas hotel owner who wants them to come live in a gorgeous penthouse hotel suite.

Suddenly the Strip's most exclusive clubs are all-access, and with an unlimited credit card each, it should be easier than ever to fit right in. But in a town full of secrets and illusion, fitting in is nothing compared to finding out the truth about their past.

1. What one word would you use to describe your life prior to learning your dad’s identity? After?

Before: Frustrating (I mean, it wasn’t all bad, but my life never used to feel right, if that makes sense!)

After: Dream-come-true! (Can that be one word with the hyphens? J)

2. What’s an aspect of your new life in Vegas that has been completely different than you initially imagined it would be?

At first I thought that being able to buy the stuff I wanted to have in California but couldn’t afford would make my life fall into place the way I wanted it to. But it didn’t happen that way. Fitting in is still hard, girls can still be mean, and guys can still be jerks. But I know I’ll always have my sisters there for me, and I did meet one person in Vegas who gave me hope that my dreams can come true!

3. If you could describe your sisters using only a hotel, show, or shop on the strip, what well-known Vegas landmark or attraction might each of them be?

Courtney: The Trump Hotel, because it’s the most low-key hotel on the Strip. (Well, technically it’s off-Strip, but it’s still visible from the Strip so it looks like it’s on it.) The Trump has no clubs, and it doesn’t even have a casino. It’s considered “family friendly”—the hotel people go to when they don’t want to be as immersed in the fast-paced Vegas life—and Courtney is a very calm, focused person

Peyton: The bungee jump attraction at the Stratosphere, because she throws herself into everything in life with no fears! There are so many times when I wish I could have her fearlessness.

4. You’re headed out for a night on the town. What does your outfit look like?

My favorite outfit is any dress that sparkles! Preferably in blue, because it brings out my eyes. With silver strappy high-heals (I need high heels because I’m only 5’4”), and a silver Chanel bag J

5. Vegas is known to be a celebrity hotspot. Name three celebrities you can’t help but hope you might run into when you’re out and about.

Paris Hilton, because I’ve been a fan of hers since my best friend Evie and I found a DVD of The Simple Life in the bargain bucket at Walmart and watched all the episodes in a row. I love her confidence. Any of the guys from One Direction, because they’re gorgeous and it would be an absolute dream to meet them. And Jennifer Lawrence, because who doesn’t love Jennifer Lawrence?

6. If your sisters were interviewed and asked to describe you, what are a few of the words you think might be included in that description?

Ahh that’s so hard to think about! They would probably say that I’m talkative and energetic. And hopefully talented! Because I sing all the time at home, and they say I’m good, but I get so nervous singing for people I don’t know.

7. You of course love your sisters Peyton and Courtney, but there undoubtedly must have been moments growing up where you got on each other’s nerves. What’s one small quirk or habit each of them has that drives you crazy? What’s something you do that you think likely has the same effect on them?

Peyton can never get out of bed in the morning, and then she hogs the bathroom getting ready for school, which drives me absolutely crazy. I was so happy to get my own bathroom in the condo in the Diamond! And Courtney always thinks she’s right about everything. Yeah, she ends up being right a lot, but it’s annoying how much enjoyment she gets out of being right.

Courtney gets annoyed at me for my stuff in my area of our room making its way into her area (she’s beyond organized.) Although she gets irritated at Peyton for that, too. I love having separate rooms now because I can be as messy as I want to be, and Courtney doesn’t lecture me about it. (We also have housekeeping service, so my room gets cleaned up, which is nice, because I hate cleaning.) Peyton gets annoyed at me sometimes for caring too much about what other people think about me and overanalyzing stuff that happens with my friends. But I can’t help it—she might not care about what people think about her, but not everyone is like that!
